Jett Pink is a Hermosa Beach, CA based musician who lives to rock and loves to entertain. A sum of his many influences, Jett is built from rock n’ roll parts but fueled by cold hard blues. With a performance style similar to his idols, Neil Young and Chris Robinson, Jett pours his soul into every song he sings and delivers his material with a brand of engaging intensity that is purely his own.
Jett’s ‘old soul’ also comes out in his inspired song writing. He appreciates the beauty and potential of well written lyrics and loves writing them. His style harkens back to a time in music when performance and song material trumped recording gadgetry and pop feasibility. While his main instrument is his voice, Jett also plays guitar, resonator guitar, mandolin, pedal steel guitar, and harmonica. He really ‘feels’ everything he performs and is equally happy playing covers or his own material. Jett is well known for playing those great acoustic cover songs that you forgot you loved.
After spending much time on the road, including a stint opening up for Ted Nugent, Jett has set down roots in the thriving music scene of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. In his weekly gigs at The Shore in Hermosa Beach, Jett gets to hone his craft and nurture his inspiration. Recently Jett got to take his version of delta-style blues on the road for an awesome gig at The Bayfront Bluesfest in Duluth, MN, where he got a wonderful reception from a packed tent full of North Country bluesfans. It was a magical gig and surely a harbinger of great things to come for the hard-working bluesman.
